Cliff & Wendy

I met Cliff and Wendy today at a Condo where they had their first date for their Engagement Session. It was really really windy but we had a great time and Freckles (their cute puppy) stole the show. After that we headed over to Cypress Grove Estate house and we were all very thankful that it did not rain! I am so honored that I get to be a part of this very awesome couples special day...thank you and I hope you love your sneak peaks!

Laying in Bed......

So I am laying in bed on a very rainy Saturday afternoon with my foot up on 4 pillows......I broke my big toe! Thank goodness for Clay (hubby) who has taken really good care of me and the two kiddos for the past two days. The good news is I caught up on all my Tivo shows and my Netflix movies. I recommend "American Gangster" and "The Other Boleyn Girl" they were both really good. I am really looking forward to my Engagement Session tomorrow and I hope they don't mind me limping around. Just call me gimpy!

I have gotten so many e-mails asking where this Trash the Dress session was taken. We were downtown Orlando basically just walking into little corners here and there. We actually found a fountain on Orange Ave and well... just jumped in. We were all very nervous that we were going to get kicked out but they were more interested in watching us then kicking us out. Here I was with jeans on with water up to knees and Katie in a full wedding dress! Needless to say we made a bit of a spectacle. Thank you again Jon and Katie for being so great and FEARLESS!

Has anyone seen a new little gadget called Kindle? For those of you who love to read like I do this is really great. It is basically an electronic book that you take with you anywhere. You can download any book, magazine, newspaper and viola! I found the least expensive at Amazon.com and if you apply for some credit card you get $100.00 off. I can't wait to get it.

First day of School

I just can't believe she started 2nd grade today....ugh I feel so old. This year her school started with uniforms and I think they look cute!

Attention Brides!!

I'm looking for 3 models for an upcoming workshop here in Orlando. We'll be shooting some urban bridal portraits and a trash the dress.

Here is what we are looking for:

1) a past bride, with a gown, who's not afraid of getting it a bit dirty-

2)A past bride & groom, with a gown and suit/tux, who are not afraid of getting them a bit dirty

The dates of the workshop are as follows: Friday, September 12 - afternoon and evening and Saturday, September 13 - daytime (could be morning or afternoon, TBD)We're working on the details, but compensation will most likely come in terms of photographs from the shoot in exchange for your time. Boudoir Bachelorette Party!!!!

One of my clients recently just asked me about doing a Boudoir Bachelorette Party and my wheels started to turn...hmmmmm. So you come with your group of girls have snacks and of course lots of wine. Then you get your hair and makeup done take your photos and you are ready to go out on the town looking better than ever with your professional hair and makeup! Two weeks later everyone gets their personal Boudoir 8x10 books and your fiance and bridesmaids get their wedding day presents from you all rolled into one. Sound good to me lets do it!
